We are in the area in the country getting the ice storm as well as snow. Our power went off about 12:30 p.m. and we are now getting power off of a generator.. I have taken a few photos and put them here: Ice Storm Photos The power could be off for a few days. Thankfully we have the generator to run part of the time, to get heat on and a hot meal.
I plan on taking more photos on Sunday. We have had a relatively mild winter, other than the below freezing temps, so far this winter. Guess it was our time to get hit by a big one. Pretty much everything around here is clossed or cancelled. No worship services on Sunday.
This storm started offf with thunder and hail, then sleet, then on and off freezing rain which has turned to snow now. Suppose to get a lot, 7-11 inches of it they say.
