Memorial Day has become a day of remembering all those who have died before us. Let us not forget what the meaning of Memorial Day is, especially at this time of conflicts around the world.
Last year, we were in Minneapolis and stopped by the National Cemetery at Fort Snelling where I took this photo. This year, we will be at Fort Riley for the day. I hope to get to their Memorial Day Ceremony. Fort Riley is the home of the 1st ID (1st Infantry Division aka The Big Red One) and has lost members in the current war on terrorism.
Fort Riley is also where Andrew is currently stationed. We shall have an enjoyable day with him, seeing where he is living and such.
